Here we have a large Victorian / Edwardian yellow oil lamp shade to suit a Duplex or central draught lamp. The shade starts out clear at the fitting rim and graduates to a pretty lemon-yellow at the frill, the shade is etched with panels of Victorian stylised flowers and foliage. Condition, as close to the day it left the factory, usual tiny flea-bites to the fitting rim, so small they are hardly worth mentioning, usual tiny bubbles and slight small flaws to etching, no chips, cracks or anything that detracts in any way, a stunning shade! Dimensions, around 7 1/4" tall and around 8" across the frill with a 4" fitting rim. Overall a beautiful large shade in excellent condition. To note, I try to point out the most obvious flaws or damage I can see and to be as honest as I possibly can be, so that you are happy and content with your purchase, please understand that old items have a tendency to be slightly scuffed or marked in some way or another over years of use, items will more than likely never be 'factory fresh' unless stated, also old items especially where flammable liquid is concerned are used at your own risk, I would never list anything that I believed to be unsafe, however I cannot guarantee that the items are 100% safe, I also cannot guarantee that the purchaser will use said items properly and in a safety-conscious manner, have a good look at the pictures and if there are any questions or concerns that you may have, please do not hesitate to email me, further pictures on request.
