For your consideration is this beautiful original vintage Frankart / Nuart Era Double Nude Lamp in VERY GOOD CONDITION. Of course, if you are familiar with collectible art deco figural lamps then you know this is the highly sought after Coy Nudes in the Dancing To The Light posed lamp that was so popular in the 1920's and 30's.
Approximately 12 inches Height X 5 1/2 X 3 1/2 inch Base W 4 1/2 X 3inch Fitted Dark Amber Brain Globe, this beautiful lamp captures attention no matter where you place it. This great art deco figural lamp is solid and represents the American Art Deco period nicely. Do Not Confuse this lamp with the cheaper produced knock off's of this lamp that came with the solid colored globes. This is the early period lamp with the deep amber colored Brain Globe that has the air bubbles present. The great deep amber Brain Globe really shows off this great lamp and produces a very nice mellow glow when lit. As good as it gets for this very rare double nude art deco lamp. See Photos. This is a very nice Collectors Grade Lamp that is featured in ART DECO LIGHTING by Millman & Dwyer.
A wonderful example of art deco collectible lamps in VERY GOOD CONDITION, this lamp has absolutely no major flaws save your normal age and wear / use indicators that are to be expected. All electrical appears to be tight and working fine (cord appears to have been replaced at some point and she has a period toggle switch mounted to the base).

In todays environment and market place that is full of unknowing or unscrupulous sellers, most buyers like to know a little something about who they are dealing with. We have been active in the Antique and Vintage Collectible venue for 20 + years. We have, over the course of the years, narrowed our focus and speciality down to Art Deco Figural Lamps. Our goal is to provide the very best hand picked vintage collectibles we can offer. We acquire our heirloom items through various venues such as estate sales, antique shops, liquidations, auctions and straight out purchase offers. We follow the same standards with all of our vintage art nouveau and art deco collectibles we offer/ We regularly sell to private clients, antique dealers, antique stores, interior decorators, collectors and antique collectible enthusiasts from all walks of life who recognize and appreciate the heirloom quality of our items. Our primary goal is to help our clients build the finest collection possible within their means. We develop a close professional relationship of trust with each and every client we serve and in turn, our satisfied clients have built our business over the years, returning to purchase item after item . These individuals believe, as we do, that a beautiful antique or vintage collectible should not only be an esthetically pleasing work of art and craftsmanship, but should reward the owner with increasing value and worth. Our items are quiet simply, heirloom collectables, that will be enjoyed, passed on and cherished for generations to come.
Because our items are original antique collectables, much of the worth and value of the item itself rest in the fact that it is original, vintage, has been previously owned, and shows normal use and wear indicators. This is true of any and all heirloom antiques an is to be expected. All of our items are vintage collectibles or antiques and representative of the art periods in which they were made and used in history. You will find no reproduction items in our listings, only authentic antique and vintage collectibles or antique period originals. The quality and collectible condition of the vintage items which we offer as well as the customer service we provide truly set us apart from your typical on line auction seller. However, that doesn't bother us one bit somebody has to raise the bar and set the standard.
You may rest assured of our item listings and bid in full confidence. We are Charter Members of the Antique Lighting Dealers Association and the Art Deco Dealers Association. We adhere to the professional standards and By Laws set forth by these Associations. So you can rest assured of your buying experience.
We practice Full Disclosure in all of our listings and post multiple images of every vintage or antique item we sell. We describe as best we can each and every item we sell. We make no implied or suggest warranty on any item. The item which is displayed is the item you are bidding on. We encourage shoppers or buyers to ask questions prior to bidding and we will answer them to the best of our ability. We encourage buyers to take their time and closely review each and every photo we provide. We beleive that informed buyers are satisfied customers.
To protect against Buyer's Remorse we have found it necessary to disclose that All SALES ARE FINAL UNLESS THE ITEM HAS BEEN GROSSLY MISREPRESENTED IN OUR LISTING. If you feel that any item has been misrepresented upon receipt of the item we ask that you immediately contact us. Do not leave an unwarranted Negitive Feedback without giving us the opportunity to respond. If we agree to accept the item back buyer pays all return shipping and insurance charges returning the original item in original packaging and original state. Yes, we have had buyers try to improve their collections by substituting a less desirable item and returning it to us. A Restocking Fee of 20% is also accessed on all returned items.
Pursuant to ebay's new rules, we are only able to accept payment through Paypal. Payment must be posted within 3 calendar days following the close of the listing. Occasionally, we have buyers ask if we will accept installments for certain auctions and we have under special circumstances worked with buyers in certain situations who have asked us prior to bidding on the item. Otherwise Please! . . . if you cannot or will not tender payment as required, do not bid on the item! It is costly to the Seller and unfair to other auction participants.
We understand that our responsibility as a Seller does not end at the close of the auction. Our goal is to have your vintage collectible reach you in the same condition that it is presented here in our listing. Although we cannot control the quality of care given the item once it leaves our possession, we make every reasonable effort to package it so that it will arrive undamaged. We utilize only professional quality packaging materials to help ensure the protection of your investment. Our goal is to professionally package your item to minimize the probability of damage in transit. Occasionally our packaging standards require restocking of materials or providing additional shipping materials for a special item and that might briefly delay our ability to ship immediately. Because we deal in vintage collectibles, we ask your understanding if we require a little more time to package your item securely. Noting is more disheartening than to open your package and find the item damaged from shipping.
For the protection of your investment we ship all of our vintage collectibles via USPS signature is required on all purchases regardless of value and despite any default ebay settings as we are not responsible for the item(s) once possession transfers to the carrier or carrier's agent. In the event that the item is lost or damaged in transit, the Buyer is responsible for filing the claim with the respective carrier.
Shipments are processed on Wednesday and Friday of each week for those items for which confirmed payment has been received by noon of the preceding day. Please note that fixed shipping charges quoted within any of our listings are valid only within the contiguous 48 states. If your shipping destination is AK, HI or PR or another Global destination, we will provide a estimate of full packaging, shipping and insurance cost prior to bidding on the item. Remember, this is only a reasonable estimate of your respective shipping charges. In those cases where the auction item is particularly large, fragile or of unusual shape and requires special or professional packaging, Buyer will be charged the actual or approximate cost of the necessary packaging material and/or service. It is our objective to minimize such costs but we will not compromise the security of the item thereby risking the destruction of a valuable art deco collectible.
We utilize a variety of eBay Auction Types to list our items: Absolute Auction, Auction With a Reserve Value, Buy It Now Auction Feature or Best Offer Features depending on the item. We do not disclose any Reserve's set for our eBay auctions as a matter of practice unless we do so in the body of the item description itself. So, please do not ask us to do so.
Because of recent losses to inexperienced and/or insincere Buyers, in order to protect our responsible bidders we regrettably find it necessary to impose the following bidding restriction: If you have a total feedback score of 30 or less, you must contact us for email approval prior to bidding on any of our listings. If you fail to contact us as requested, we will delete your bid and block you from bidding on our item(s). We regret that this action is necessary but we can no longer absorb the time, labor, photography and listing costs associated with Non Paying Buyers. We sincerely apologize to the rest of the eBay Buyer's who have limited feedback and honor their commitments and appreciate your cooperation and understanding!
Because of the vintage collectible venue we deal in we do not sell on approval. The listing or auction constitutes a legal contract and all sales are final. Please understand that all information regarding the age, condition, origin, etc. of the items we list represents our best approximation given our experience and knowledge at the time the listing is posted. We make every effort to provide accurate information and practice full disclosure as it is in everyone's best interest. All items we sell are vintage or antique originals and are therefore previously owned and used as we have already addressed. As such, normal wear in accordance with the age of the item must be expected unless otherwise specified in the item description that the item is in Fair, Good, Excellent, Fine or Mint condition or is NOS (new old stock which never reached the consumer). We make no representation regarding the condition of any part which is concealed and not reasonably accessible to inspection.
