This lamp measures 12 1/2" tall, 10 1/2" to top without burner and 6 1/2" wide. It is in good used condition with no cracks or repairs but does have some chipping on the base edges. I do believe the burner has been replaced and the collar is loose. It is a nice old lamp and the stem shows a 2 part mold line. It has a slight purple tint to the glass. This unique and very desirable jadeite green glass deco boudoir lamp is fluted with recessed deco motifs highlighted in the original baked enameled black finish. Lamp is in working order with the chain switch working smoothly..The chrome shade fitters and finials are original. The ziggurat profile base remains undamaged. There is a very small area at the base of the shade that is rough but this is extremely minor. Measure 10.5 x 4 x 4 inches. Large Antique Victorian P&A Kerosene/Oil Hand Painted Iris Lamp With Tuxedo Burner Welcome to this auction for a lovely large antique P&A kerosene or oil hand painted lamp with a redish purple iris and a Tuxedo brand burner and font. It stands over 16" high without the shade which it doesn't come with unfortunately and the body at the top is 28" in diameter. The top of the burner is marked "Tuxedo" and the burner and font are one piece with a removable cap so the fluid can be put in; there is a knob on the side for the wick that goes around the burner, which is quite unusual I believe, and I've shown pictures with the wick in both the up and down positions. The font looks to be brass and I'm not sure what metal was used for the elaborate trim around the top of the glass body and for the base but it has a faint golden hue and probably needs polishing. Likewise, the brass around the top of the font has darkened in spots. There is a spot of what looks like white paint on the inside edge of the trim and also on an edge of the font which I'm sure can be cleaned off; there is some wear also the the hand painting on the body but this lamp still is very attractive and would be a great addition to any setting. The base underneath is marked "P&A" on one side and "283" on the other. There are no dings or cracks that I could see. CONDITION: The base has its original paint surface and patina and the old and right fitted glass globe that is specific to this lamp. The shade has some wear and minor damage along the fitter base that cannot be seen when placed in the lamp base. The figural element has been stripped to the base metal and is now a polished spelter metal. It was likely the pearlized white color that this company used - the color while extraordinary did not last typically survive in these lamps we see today.
