Extremely rare french art deco table light / lamp manufactured around 1925-1930. Art deco lights featuring animals theme were a favorite in the early art deco time. This lamp features an antelope or springbok mounted a geometric ornamented base. The material is silvered bronze which was de rigueur in the early french art deco era The very thick glass of the lamp is very elegant and typical for the high quality manufacturing These kind of lamps with such a finish have become extremely scarce on the market The lamp is a great eye catcher non only due to the great detailing but because it can be placed in the middle of a room since it s double faced.
