Antique Pierced Brass Islamic Camel Table LAMPS Ornate Picture and Description:
Antique Pierced Brass Camel Lamps Script in shade Broken top piece. Broken end piece. SHIPPING: I was able to fit both the lamp bases and shades into one large carton. It's big and heavy. 32lbs at 16"x18"x26".They ARE boxed and ready to go. PLEASE NOTE: These were a Estate sale purchase and I can only go off what was told to me. Sold by Daughter who's Mother recently was going into a home. She remembers these being in their home Library since the 1950's. She did not know the exact age and what year her parents actually purchased them prior to the 1950's or from where they were acquired. You are viewing a matching set of (2) Antique brass Middle Eastern or Moroccan Table Lamps. Large & very heavy with Stunning ornate detail. Pierced shade with middle eastern writing on one side of the shade and on base of lamp. The Crescent Moon and Star adorns the top. Possibly Islamic influenced. Approximate Size: Over-all Height = 25.5". Over-all Width = 20". Over-all Depth 6". Condition: Being as old as they are, there is some damage (which could be repaired/replaced). Both shades have what look to be serpent heads on both top and ends. One shade the serpent is broken on the end and the other shade, the serpent is broken on top. These could possibly be fabricated by a brass worker and soldered on. Also there is a bit of the fringe missing from one of the shades. 1)Please do not bid if you do not intend to pay. 2) PLEASE! Communicate with us through the Ebay message system ONLY. We do not respond to emails. We try to answer all questions within 24/48 hrs. 3)We are very accommodating people and we work very hard at bringing you a wide varity of items. 4)We do not try to make money on shipping. The "Shipping Wizard" Ebay has built is not accurate nor does it allow for items that need to be packaged in multiple boxes. We have no control over the rates that the Post Office, UPS or any other freight handler charges. For small items, we tend to use USPS Priority mail. The post office supplies the packaging. 5)Preferred shipping method for furniture is GREYHOUND Package Express. They are the least expensive and (so far) have the best record for not damaging larger items. The only disadvantage with Greyhound is, you have to retrieve the package at their depot. If you are requesting a quote, please tell us the closest Greyhound depot to you that handles freight. (Not all depots handle freight) 6)Local Pick-up is always welcome, at no extra charge. See my other listings for more great items! Payment is to be made within 5 days of the close of the auction. Due to Ebay's new policies, we can only accept Paypal, except for local pick-up items. Please make payment arrangements prior to pick-up. If payment has not been made within 14 days of the close of the auction we will contact Ebay. 1)We try to ship everything out within 2~5 days after payment has cleared. Larger items, such as furniture, need special packing materials and boxes which takes a day or two to obtain. Extra charges for these materials will be posted in the auction. 2) We will combine items into one package when possible. If we bill you for multiple shipping charges, we will issue a refund for the difference. 3) We are now shipping some items out of the country using the US Postal Priority Service only. Insurance is only offered using "Express Mail". If you want/need insurance for your item, please expect higher shipping costs. Once the item has been shipped we will provide a tracking number upon request. We cannot be held responsible for loss or damage by ANY of the shipping providers. For Canada, we will use UPS standard for larger items. Please see the auction for details. 4) Now here's my complaint about shipping providers. No matter how well I package your item, if they mishandle it and damage it, THEY STILL DEMAND TO GET PAID! This is not right in my opinion. Insurance does not reimburse for shipping costs, no matter how much extra insurance you buy! If you pay insurance, it should cover the entire cost. I want you to receive your item intact, so I rely on my 30+ yrs experience shipping very expensive electronics all over the world. But, I have no control over the the persons hired by shipping companies or the US Mail Service. So, be very patient when it comes to a shipping damage claim. All items shipped within the USA will be insured unless YOU say NO to insurance. Out of country shipping insurance will be up to the buyer and if it is available. txzj pxzj584 txzj40 txzj99
